Waking up in the morning with joy, it's certainly a time to look forward to, which we do with our family - year after year. Most people celebrate this season for the birth of Jesus, others just to have a reason to make money in business, and so many others, religious or not...

I value my life and my time. Jesus is the only reason for us. Of course, we love to gift each other because it just feels so good to give. I wanted to wish everyone joy, blessings, and His Shalom - Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

I wanted to use this opportunity to share a short testimony with you in hopes that it will renew your faith and show you that Jesus really does love you.

This happened a few weeks ago - I wasn't feeling too great, had a mild headache all day. It was a Sunday, our typical family day. We didn't make any plans that weekend, so it was laid back. I spent most of the day in bed. I really felt like it's what I needed. My headache got worse throughout the day. I tried my best to avoid taking pain medication. My kids and hubby took good care of me. I caved towards the end of the day and took some medication, it got bad enough and nothing was working, even naps during the day didn't help. Usually water, naps, fruit, vitamins, etc. would help but not this time and it turned into a bad migraine.

I got up throughout the day to care for my baby, eat lunch, dinner, etc. I tried to get myself distracted, well, that didn't work either. The pain medication kicked in, but didn't work. Which is very unusual for me, usually if it gets bad and I end up taking two pills, less than an hour goes by, I'm all good. Not this time for whatever reason. Later in the evening, I told my family that I'm going to call it a night and go to bed early. I did.

I'm not sure how much time passed, I had already fallen asleep, but I felt the pain, I hear a quiet shuffle of the bedsheet at the edge of our bedside. I peeked with one eye and I see that my 5 year old climbed up on our bed and she sat on her knees next to my feet and began to pray. I didn't quiet hear every word, I was half asleep, but I heard her say "Jesus bless mommy!"

I kept my eyes closed and did't move, I didn't want her to know that I saw and heard her praying, but I was smiling inside.

She finished praying and left the room.

Moments later, I felt warmth in my head and the pain left - COMPLETELY.

I personally have never experienced anything like this before.

I was truly HEALED because my 5 year old PRAYED for me. This was my Miracle and I was so grateful to experience that. It surely increased my faith, gave me hope, and encouraged me as a mom.

In the morning, I told everyone what happened. I wrote my daughter a little note thanking her for the prayer, for being my blessing, how much I love her and how amazing she is. She loves to read that note over and over again. She'll carry it around and ask others to read it for her.

It's my mama moment that I wanted to share because I know we have such beautiful blessings in our lives and only us mamas know exactly how much they mean to us.

I don't know what you may be going through - it too shall pass.

Be encouraged that Jesus hears our prayers, prayers of our children, and He answers.

Ask your children to pray for you. Teach them to pray.
