My Heart & My Story

"There's a little girl I think about often — nine years old, standing in the bathroom of a New York airport, reciting a poem with a grin she couldn't contain."

That little girl was me.

Anna Malimon

We were all created for a reason & are a blessing to one another.

My family came to America from Moldova seeking freedom — freedom of religion, freedom to raise our children in faith, freedom to simply be. We arrived with almost nothing. A few bags of clothes. No English. No connections. No roadmap. But we had each other, we had our faith, and we had the kind of stubborn hope that doesn't ask permission.

My mama had taught me a little poem before we left: "Good morning, good morning, good morning to you — good morning my friend, I'm glad to see you!" I had no idea what it meant, but I recited it to the first person I saw — a sweet woman in that airport bathroom — with mispronunciation, a heavy accent, and everything I had. She smiled and handed me a dollar. My very first American dollar. I've held onto that moment for a long time. Not because of the dollar — but because it taught me something early: show up fully, lead with warmth, and God will open doors.

Settling into a new country wasn't easy. There were hard days, moments of being made fun of, and the quiet loneliness of not quite belonging anywhere yet. But we adapted, learned quickly, and within a few months my brother and I were speaking English. Faith was the anchor. Family was everything. And somehow, it all held together.

I grew up, got married to a wonderful, supportive man, and together we began building a life. We moved. A lot. Across states, into apartments and rented homes, then a home we bought and remodeled, and eventually — in a chapter that surprised even us — into a Fifth Wheel trailer at an RV park for five years. We've done it all. And through every season, I kept my eyes on what mattered: God and my family.

In the middle of life's full, messy, beautiful chaos, I earned my education — a little at a time, over many years — while also navigating a serious car accident in my late teens that shook me physically for a long time. Recovery was slow. It required physical therapy, rehab, doctors, and a whole lot of prayer. Over the course of about a decade, God healed me completely. My back no longer aches. My bones no longer hurt. I don't take that lightly — it remains one of the greatest testimonies of my life.

With every breath, I treasure the realization that my life was spared, living in continual gratitude for the path He has set before me. I haven't fulfilled my mission and did not yet live out my purpose.

I would not be where I am & who I am today — if not for God's Grace, Mercy, & Blessings on my life!

I've worn a lot of hats over the years.

And through all of it, the same thread has always been woven through: a hunger to grow, and a desire to bring other women along.

I've always been goal-oriented — but not in a hustle-culture way. From as far back as I can remember, I believed that if I wrote something down and it was God's will, it would come to pass. So I wrote things down. Dreams, prayers, goals, hopes for my family. And one by one — sometimes years later — they came to fruition. Every single one. I still journal to this day. It's one of the most consistent practices of my life, and one of the most powerful tools I know for keeping your heart aligned with where God is leading you.

Our four children were born naturally, and we've homeschooled them for years now — choosing the freedom, the togetherness, the Bible lessons at the kitchen table, and the healthy homemade meals over the rush and noise of a conventional school week. It's not always picture-perfect, but it is intentional. And intentional living is something I believe in deeply.

In 2015, I stepped away from my corporate career to pursue something that had been stirring in me for a long time: helping women. I dove into personal development, marketing, online education — and began building what would eventually become eLifeMama.

eLifeMama was born out of my own journey — the real one, not the highlight reel.

It was built for the woman who is trying to figure out what it means to walk in wisdom as a daughter, a wife, a mother. For the woman who loves God and wants her home to reflect that. For the woman who sometimes feels like she's holding everything together and wondering if anyone sees her.

I see her. I've been her.

Through the Wise Women Suite — Wise Young Ladies, Wise Wife, and Wise Mama — I walk women through the things that matter most: identity, purity, marriage, communication, motherhood, finances, faith through hard seasons, and so much more. All of it rooted in Scripture. All of it grounded in real life.

I'm also a singer, a lover of travel, a fluent Russian speaker, and someone who still believes that showing up with a smile and a willing heart can open any door.

I'm so glad you found your way here. This community was built for you.
